There are many natural spaces in Roquetas de Mar, but the natural paradise of Entinas-Saginar is the main attraction. This is the only biosphere reserve in the province and it offers visitors walking and cycling routes.

There is also a historic, monumental aspect to the town, thanks to the Santa Ana Castle. This building was recently restored and it now hosts a large number of the municipality's cultural acts and exhibitions. The lighthouse has been adapted in order to host the majority of Roquetas de Mar's other exhibitions and shows.

The Plaza de Toros (bullring) is one of the most modern of its kind in Spain. Not only is it a place where you can take in displays involving the main matadors of the bullfighting world, its facilities are also prepared to welcome large concerts. Around this venue you will find some of the province's best leisure options and activities.

The quality of our sea is obvious with the two small marinas in the municipality. The Aguadulce marina has a variety of recreational options available as well as some of the best berths on the Almería coast. On the other hand, Roquetas de Mar's port is focussed on the picturesque activity of traditional fishing in addition to its sporting aspect. Both are highly popular tourist points of interest.

The Exhibition and Conference Centre (Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos) hosts some of Andalusia's most prestigious fairs.
